Word Online - Check boxes not appearing

Limitation with Word Online, will not recognise the checkbox symbol however when document is opened with Word on PC you can view the check box as per normal. Workaround solution is to replace checkbox symbol with check box function within Word. Enable Developer tab in Ribbon within Word and insert check box.
